Ramadan Mubarak means Happy Ramadan!
This year, the month of Ramadan started last Friday, on April 24th. Muslims (people that follow the religion of Islam) consider this month to be one of the most important times of the year. It is a time of prayer and giving to others, as well as connecting with family. During Ramadan, some Muslims do not have any food or drink from sunrise to sunset (this is called fasting). After sunset, they gather with family to have a special meal called iftar.
