Library Learning Commons Guidelines
How many books can I borrow?
Kindergarten: 1 book
Grade 1: 1 book
Grade 2: 2 books
Grade 3: 3 books
Grade 4-7: 3+ books (max. 6 books)
Students can borrow if they forget their book up to a maximum of 3 books overdue.
Please remember to return your books on your Library Day.
What happens if I lose or damage a book?
Please look after our books as best as you can!
Put them in a plastic bag in your backpack to protect them from rain and spills.
Keep books away from pets and baby brothers/sisters.
Wash your hands before you read to keep your book clean.
If you think you have lost or damaged a book - please come and talk to Ms. Myles. Accidents happen, so you may not have to pay for the book. I can also give you ideas of where to look for that missing book!
What time can I come and borrow?
Students can borrow during their class weekly Library time.
From 11:30-11:45 Monday-Thursday (with classroom teacher permission)
After school 2:30-2:45pm (Families welcome)
Opening Hours
Families are welcome to come with students before and after school, Monday-Thursday
Monday - Friday: 8:20am - 2:45pm
